A story worth hearing. A conversation worth having.

The ASUMH EMS Program is honored to welcome Kelli and Brian Thomas to campus on September 22 as they share their son Skyler’s story.

Skyler would have been a senior this year. Through sharing his story, Kelli and Brian hope to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage meaningful conversations about mental health and su***de. Most importantly, they hope his story reminds us to recognize when someone may be struggling and to never underestimate the importance of reaching out.

Originally planned with our EMS students and personnel in mind, we believe Skyler’s story is one that can make a difference for our entire campus and community. Everyone is welcome.

Calling all sculptors! 🎨

There’s still time to be part of something new in Mountain Home! The Mountain Home Art Walk Visiting Artists Series, Sponsored by Jim Brown Company, is accepting applications from sculptors across the country to have their work featured along the Art Walk.

Selected artists will receive a $1,000 stipend and have their sculpture on display for approximately five months.

The application deadline is coming up on September 15 — just one week away!
