Our Early Childhood Education program is hosting Safe Sitter, a FREE class for students ages 9–14 interested in caring for young children. Participants will gain invaluable hands-on training, build essential life and safety skills, and earn their official Safe Sitter Certification!

In observance of Labor Day, all Ivy Tech Muncie campuses and offices are closed today, Monday, September 7.

Did you know? Labor Day became a federal holiday in 1894 after the Pullman Railroad Strike, signed into law by President Grover Cleveland to honor the American workforce and the labor movement’s contributions to our nation’s strength and prosperity!

We will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, at 8:00 a.m. Have a safe and relaxing holiday!
