Congratulations to Chris Wilkey, Class of 2013. From student to faculty to center director!

Congratulations to Professor Chris Wilkey of the Department of Marketing for winning a 2026 Immersive Learning Faculty Award!

In his Marketing 490 course, "Digital Marketing Immersive Capstone," students do real digital marketing work for real clients. Last year, the class partnered with New Castle Main Street and worked with 8 downtown businesses. Students did discovery and research, figured out what was working and what was not, built a clear plan, created content and assets, and then delivered final recommendations and materials that the businesses could actually use. Students got coaching on how to present ideas, how to incorporate feedback, and how to deliver work that is usable, not just impressive.
