2) The Indiana Republican Party has opened internship applications for Winter, Spring, and Summer 2026.

Interns play a vital role in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the party and assisting with events and special projects. This internship offers hands-on experience working for the Indiana Republican Party, gaining insight into the political and legislative processes, establishing valuable professional relationships, and building a strong resume.

If you are interested in applying for an internship with the Indiana Republican Party during the 2026 election cycle, please visit https://indiana.gop where you can find the internship application under the Take Action tab. They will be hiring interns to assist in the field/grassroots, fundraising, communications, and political departments. Interns are paid a monthly stipend and will either work remotely or at our headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.

Field/Grassroots Interns will be working in the field under our team of field coordinators and engage with our local Republican parties and grassroots organizations to coordinate voter outreach and engagement.

Fundraising Interns will be working and assisting with donor outreach and engagement, as well as staffing various events.

Communications Interns will be working with our communications team on voter outreach and engagement as we promote our slate of candidates for statewide office and Congress.

Political Interns will be working with our political team to assist in the coordination and administration of the 2026 Indiana Republican State Convention.

If you or someone you know is interested and have any questions pertaining to the Indiana Republican Party internship program, please refer them to [email protected] or call (317) 635-7561.
