Sigma Chi - Epsilon Omega Chapter

Welcome to the Epsilon Omega Chapter of Sigma Chi at Ball State University! Founded in 1962, we cultivate powerful brotherhood and build strong leaders!

Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) is one of the largest and oldest college Greek-letter secret and social fraternities in the world with 240 active chapters and over 300,000 initiates. Sigma Chi was founded on June 28, 1855 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio when members split from Delta Kappa Epsilon. Sigma Chi has seven founding members: Benjamin Piatt Runkle, Thomas Cowan Bell, William Lewis Lockwood, Isaac M. J

ordan, Daniel William Cooper, Franklin Howard Scobey, and James Parks Caldwell. Sigma Chi is a part of the Miami Triad, along with Beta Theta Pi and Phi Delta Theta.

October’s Brother of the Month is Chad Graves! Chad is a junior criminal justice major from Kokomo, Indiana. One thing about Chad is that he is now the only 2-time brother of the month. Congratulations Chad!

Chad Graves in your February Brother of the Month! Chad is a sophomore at Ball State from Kokomo, IN and is currently studying criminal justice. He also holds the title of Magister in the fraternity. Something you may not know is that Chad works at Bracken Library! Congrats Chad!

As we begin starting classes today, we would like some time to congratulate the 18 people that Sigma Chi had on the Dean’s List for the fall of 2023! Amazing work in the classroom! One last thing to recognize is the three graduates we had. Nathan Middlebrook, Jared Newman, and Tyler Groves were our three graduates at the semester. Good luck in your future endeavors!

November's brother of the month is Tucker Wheatley! Tucker is a junior from New Albany, Indiana who is majoring in lighting design! In the house, he has held the position of philanthropy chair twice. Fun fact about Tucker is he was once in an indie film called "InstaPsycho" where he can be seen in the promotional picture! Congratulations Tucker and keep up the good work!
