The Ball State University PRSSA chapter is the oldest chapter in Indiana, founded in 1972 by Dr. Louis Ingelhart.

PRSSA Mission: To serve our members by enhancing their knowledge of public relations and providing access to professional development opportunities; To serve the public relations profession by helping to develop highly qualified professionals. We strive to enhance students’ knowledge about the industry, enhance their professional, personal and educational development and promote the ethical practice of public relations.

⭐️PRSA ICON 2025⭐️ Executive members Meghan Kelley and Cloe Osborn traveled to the nation’s capital this October to attend PRSA ICON 2025 - the Public Relations Society of America’s annual international conference that brings together students and professionals from across the nation to explore the latest trends, innovations, and insights shaping the future of strategic communications.

From hearing from legendary voices on authentic storytelling to learning how politics and technology are transforming our field, we’re returning with fresh ideas, new connections, and a renewed passion for PR. We’re excited to bring these insights back to campus and continue growing as future PR leaders! This experience reminded us why we love PR; it’s a chance to tell meaningful stories that make a difference.

1st Consultancy Meeting Alert!! 🗣️🚨 ⭐️ We are so excited to be working with .midnights this semester! PRSSA Students will get the opportunity to use their skills in PR, design, marketing, branding, writing, and more as our goal for this consultancy project is to help Midnights develop their marketing strategy & social medias profiles. This is a great opportunity to build your resume! Join us this Tuesday; September 10th 7-8 pm at the Holden Strategic Communications Center for our first consultancy meeting & help us get this project started! All are welcome!
