Let's all support one of our own: April Krowel!
Pat Tillman left the NFL in 2002 to serve his country as an Army Ranger, and was tragically killed in action in April 2004. His surviving spouse started the Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF) which supports veterans and their spouses through educational scholarship, tools and a support network. As a Tillman Military Scholar (5th Class), I will be participating in my first ever Pat’s Run, a 4.2 mile run (in honor of Pat's football number, 42), that acts as PTF's signature fundraiser. Donations from the race directly support the Tillman Military Scholars program, which provides scholarships to U.S. military veterans and spouses who reflect Pat’s values, strength of character, and commitment to service.
My participation in this run is in honor of Pat (of course) and two Army buddies who died while serving in Iraq in 2003. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to this amazing nonprofit- there is no pressure and no amount is too small. I have already raised 67% of my goal!

In exchange for your donation, you will receive one authentic thank-you email from me, a shout-out on Facebook and a high-five (if requested in advance). If I can get within $100 of my $1000 goal, I will donate the rest to make it happen.
Also, please spread the word to folks who might be interested in contributing to a veterans organization.
