Ball State Student Veterans Organization

Ball State Student Veterans Organization Ball State’s SVO was established in 2009 & in 2011, BSU's SVO became an official chapter of the Student Veterans of American (SVA) national organization.

The Ball State University Student Veteran Organization (BSU SVO) serves as a source of knowledge, support, representation, and camaraderie to any and all students of prior and current military service seeking post secondary education at Ball State University. We are committed to the following: Helping returning veterans adjust to student life, Serving as a conduit between students and Ball State U

niversity, Reaching out to fellow veterans through service, projects, and volunteerism, Cooperating with veterans’ organizations around the state and country and Serving as a social organization for veterans. The Ball State SVO seeks to provide veterans and current service members with the resources, assistance, direction, and support necessary for the successful transition from military to civilian life. The Ball State SVO strives to emphasize personal, professional, and academic success. We believe in being a model of community involvement, academic excellence and leadership.
