The school year is wrapping up for most of the schools in our area. Congrats to the teachers, staff, admins, and the students and families for a great year!

The College of Education was honored to serve some breakfast goodies to teachers and staff yesterday David Youree Elementary before their end of year meetings thanks to the generous support from Chick-fil-A Smyrna (TN)! It was a treat to talk with so many of our alumni about their time on campus and their interest in additional degree programs! MTSU Alumni Association

These awesome band leaders will be leading music classrooms of their own when they graduate from the MTSU School of Music as Music Education Majors, with Secondary Education minors from the College of Education!

Registration opened last week for the Center for Educational Media's 2026 Collaborative Summer Academies!

âš«SPED Summer Academy - Tues. July 14. There are still several spots available! Sign up at cem.mtsu.edu/SPED

🔵ELL Summer Academy - Fri. July 17. Registration opened last Friday and filled to capacity immediately! However, we have a waiting list open in case any participants decide to drop, so sign up now! cem.mtsu.edu/ELL

If you're unable to make it to any of our Summer Academies this year, you can wait a few weeks after the event is over and still RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE if you complete the courses on our CEMOnline learning management system once they are posted.
