Congratulations to Dr. Samuel Miller who was the recipient of the 2023 Melissa Beall Award for top panel at the Central States Communication Association conference last week. He and his fellow panelists discussed the importance of public speaking in advancing democracy through the cultivation of publics and how students can become the voice their causes need.
