MTSU Dance Team

The official Middle Tennessee State University Dance Team. The MTSU Dance Team is comprised of up to 20 skilled and highly dedicated dancers.

The team dances in the Fall at football games during half-time as a part of the "Band of Blue". In the Spring they perform at home basketball games. They can also be seen at campus wide and community events, and enjoy competing at a national level. Membership is by audition and all members receive a scholarship of $500 per semester.

Last night was incredible! The team accepted the invite to the BATTLE where they performed their D1 Large Hip Hop routine in front of a packed arena. Michael Jackson did not disappoint, and the team received a style award for how unique their performances were this weekend.

We’re taking home 2nd place in the most competitive division, coming short by less than a point.

The new season starts today, and we can’t wait for the future of this program.
