Students from across Tennessee took center stage this weekend at the statewide National History Day Tennessee contest.

For many, the journey started right here at MTSU, which hosted the regional competition earlier this spring and helped prepare students in grades 6–12 for this next level.

A special shoutout to MTSU alumna Nikki Ward, who played a key role in coordinating the statewide event and supporting the next generation of historians.
