Some journeys are easier when we don't have to walk alone. On Saturday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m., the Rutherford County Blue and White Family invites our community to come together for "Walk a Mile In My Shoes" — an Autism awareness walk at Barfield Crescent Park in Murfreesboro.

Autism touches families, friends, classrooms, churches, and neighborhoods in ways both seen and unseen. This walk is about more than steps on a trail — it's about choosing understanding over assumptions, support over silence, and love over stigma.

So, whether you're walking for a child, a sibling, a parent, a friend, a patient, or simply because you believe every person deserves to be understood and celebrated — your presence matters.

This event is open to everyone. We'll bring the water and snacks, and you show up and walk with us.

These conversations strengthen communication between frontline staff and the executive team—creating space to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another.

Sigma Chi Zeta and Mu Theta volunteered with Archie's Promise to pack feminine hygiene kits for free vending machines placed in local schools and community locations.

From packing essential items to supporting a meaningful cause, the volunteer event focused on service, compassion, and helping provide access to necessities for those in need throughout the community.
