On Monday September 14th at 4pm in the Waterfield Library Gallery, Ann Gosser from the Department of Art & Design will present "Pages & Possibilities: Art journaling for reflection & creativity". It's never too early to start thinking about creating and gathering your materials for the job search after your degree is earned. Join the CHFA community for our first Career-Ready Student Conference! The day is packed with sessions to help students craft job search documents, personal statements, and to get a professional headshot taken. The event is free and open to all students, whether they can attend just one session or join us for the entire day. There's also a free pizza lunch for attendees who register by September 15 using the QR code on the flier.

Last weekend, the Department of Music lost one of its giants. Longtime Director of Bands, Dennis Johnson, passed away on Saturday, May 23. For all of us who have worked with Dennis, made music with Dennis (thousands of Murray State students and more thousands around the world), or had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis over the years, he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
