Today, I officially complete my first contract with the Kentucky Army National Guard!

The KY Army National Guard rolled up in HUMVEES and set up just outside Murray State University’s Salute to Service game to greet everyone in attendance!

Huge thanks to the 438th MP CO’s, PFC Hayden, SPC Freeman, SPC Mercado, SPC Hunter, and SGT Owens for their efforts in our community!

This is what the KY National Guard is all about: showing up for our community!!

Have you ever wondered what the Sahara Desert would feel like if you could just take a bite??

Well, wonder no more because Chef Holman’s Culinary students got the opportunity to answer that burning question with a MRE Challenge!

In addition to the braved MRE Cracker Challenge, students at Murray/Calloway County ATC learned all about MRE’s, their history, and were able to chow down on their very own Meal Ready to Eat!

Thank you, Chef Holman and ATC, for everything you do!

⚓️🏈CCHS Football Leadership Camp 2024🏈⚓️

These boys worked hard this past weekend while learning what it means to be a leader on the field, and in their everyday lives.
Such an amazing group of promising, young men led by SFC/Coach Jimmy Jones, Coach Chris Champion, Coach Robbie Jones, Coach Caleb Corocran, Coach Tristan Holland, Coach Quinton Quarles, and lastly Coach Jameson Owens; whom is also a KY National Guardsman at the 438th in Murray, KY!

As always, I’m beyond grateful to be a part of these events and to have an opportunity to mentor the future leaders of our community.

2024’s Murray-Calloway County Fair has been such an amazing experience!
