Hester College Hester College - your home away from home Hester College is one of eight Residential Colleges on Murray State University's campus.

Residential Colleges are the upgrade of traditional dorms, and offer many benefits that your typical college dorm buildings do not. Hester College has a working government, run by students, and overseen by faculty. Hester College shows a fantastic display of community and camaraderie among the building as a whole as well as each individual floor. Each college on campus competes for what is called

Spirit Flag points which determines which college is the most active. To take this a step further, each floor in Hester College competes for Floor Wars points to determine the most active floor in Hester. Hester College is always a contender in Spirit Flag competitions, intramural sports, and even academic endeavors, as far as University accomplishments go. The Floor Wars contest brings the competitiveness of the residents to the next level by throwing each floor into the ring against one another. Hester College is an amazing place to live, and offers life experiences that you will never, ever forget! You will meet lifelong friends, and develop incredible networks here at Hester College. Hester College IS the college experience that YOU are looking for!
