SCREENING: FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. NOTE: 7PM START TIME - EARLIER THAN PAST SEMESTERS. Please join us, in honor of Earth Day, for this griping documentary on famed environmental activist, Rachel Carson, on April 16 & 18. Long before she warned the world about pesticides in Silent Spring, Carson became a trailblazing female science writer who published popular articles and bestselling books about humanity's relationship with the ocean. Sponsored by the Watershed Studies Institute. All screenings this semester are on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:00pm in Faculty Hall Room 208, half an hour earlier than past years.
