Patriot Advocacy and Resource Center- PARC

The PARC provides eligible students on the Phil Campbell and Shoals campuses with basic resources.

The Patriot Advocacy and Resource Center (PARC) supports Northwest Shoals students and helps them overcome barriers that may hinder them from a college education. The PARC is 100 percent funded through a United States Department of Education grant. Services include:
Food Pantry
Mental Health Coaching
Transportation Assistance
Life Skill Workshops

PARC would like to give a huge shout out to the NWSCC Softball Team, Muscle Shoals Fire Department, and Muscle Shoals Wal-Mart!
Part of PARC services is maintaining a large pantry selection for NWSCC students. PARC had to purchase a large amount of groceries. NWCSS Softball team showed up and showed out! These ladies volunteered their time to assist PARC in unloading the van as well as putting all of the groceries away! We are sincerely grateful for their cheerful spirits, work ethic, and strength! We could not have done it without you.
Additionally, Muscle Shoals Wal-Mart employees are consistently helpful and ensure that PARC has enough help to load the groceries into the van.
On this trip, we had the privilege of Muscle Shoals Fire Department, Station 1's fireman Dustin George and Todd Bohannon assistance with loading the van!
It truly takes a village to make sure students' basic needs are met. We are forever grateful for our community's support!
