Check out the annual student art exhibition! It features the best student artwork produced in the last academic year, and is currently on display in the Overbrook Art Gallery. The reception will take place on June 2, from 5-6pm!

The art will remain on display until September 3, 2026.

A portion of the proceeds come back to our student success fund, which provides aid resources for students who need them. A bouquet is a wonderful way to show some love to your people and to ours :)

Meet Carson Foondle! Carson is a proud MCC GRAD as of May 13, 2026. He came to us from White Cloud High School, where he ran both track and cross country. He continued his running career on our track and cross country teams, and isn’t planning on stopping any time soon! During his time at MCC, he was the president of the Geography club and a member of HSO club. He was also a part-time tutor in geography, accounting, and math. The highlight of his MCC experience was the Geography club trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to visit the Smokey Mountains.

After studying accounting and finance here at MCC, Carson is now tranferring to Ferris State, where he plans to run and earn his bachelor’s degree. He’s a man with goals: to run a marathon by the time he’s 25, to work in the financial department of a high school or college, and to coach track and field or cross country (though with his track record, he’ll could end up doing both😉).

Meet Mackinzie Lamore! Mackinzie has been a proud Jayhawk for two years. She came to MCC from Whitehall in spurts, taking a break to care for her two kids and work third shift with Adult Foster Care patients for about a year. She loves to garden, bake, and renovate! If you catch her at home, you’ll find her playing with her kids or working on some sort of DIY project.

Mackinzie has a heart for others, especially children. She’s taking microbiology and psychology classes and intends to enter MCC’s nursing program to launch her into a career in pediatrics. Her dream is to work on a Mercy Ship and proved medical care and surgeries to children around the world. Go Mackinzie!
