Meet Maurice Watson! Maurice is a local student AND entrepreneur. He does a little bit of everything! After a bit of a rocky high school experience, he spent some time traveling the country and exploring his career options and skills before returning to Muskegon. During this time, he didnā€™t find one passionā€”he found many! Over the years, Maurice has developed the spirit of an entrepreneur. He now runs his own business consulting firm, called Mau Solutions, where he works with local businesses and clients. He also has a painting business, called Mitten Painting, and is in the process of writing a cookbook!

Maurice is taking business classes at MCC. He knows that career success stems from education and preparation, and he is dedicated to making his businesses grow and become more successful by applying his education to his real-world projects. He inspires his sons to take school seriously by having some friendly competition in the house about who is getting the best grades. (and dad likes to win!)
