Dear Climbers and Outdoor Enthusiasts;
As of today I have signed up SFASU OAC with the Access Fund for volunteer opportunities around our area. Joining an event of this nature not only gives back to the areas we love to climb, but also looks great to employers as well. It's a win-win situation all around.

Dear Climbers, two things to make note of in your calendar. First, the Sports Clubs Banquet is on the 2nd of May (a Wednesday) at 6:30 pm; this event is free to attend and includes dinner. Please make a comment on this post to let me know if you would like to attend by 3pm tomorrow. Second, there is a volunteering opportunity on the Earthday Celebration on April 21st (a Saturday). Outdoor Pursuits could use some volunteers from 7am to about 3pm at the Pineywoods Center on Raguet St. The event will include free food and live music; lots of fun to attend even if you don't wish to volunteer. Hope to see you there!

OAC: GREAT, worthwhile volunteer opportunity for you to get those needed points from IMS to get MORE MONEY next semester for the club! Check it out:

You care about the world upon which we live and likely join us in the belief that young people hold the key to solving many of the environmental concerns that face us in both the immediate and distant future.

We hope you'll consider joining Outdoor Pursuits in supporting this year's Envirothon, an incredible experiential environmental education program and competition that engages young minds from all over Texas to begin considering solutions for the many vexing environmental concerns around us.

This year's Envirothon will be hosted right here at SFA in the week leading up to Earth Week. Won't you join us in supporting this important event? Please consider signing up to volunteer and then share this link with the other good, like-minded folks in your circles.

Thank You!!

Attention climbers: there is a climbing competition at A&M this coming weekend and the Limestoners Competition at Reimer's Ranch in Austin the weekend after. If you want to go on the trip to Austin, let me or Thomas know immediately so that we can get a travel request form sent in and get reimbursed for gas. If you are going to A&M, neither me or Thomas will be going, but you can message me if you would like to get reimbursed for registration fees. Let me know--the paperwork has to be turned in 3 days after you return at the outside. Thanks!
