We're so proud of the work that Bailey is doing as a young alumna of NNU. Keep doing great things!

This 2027 nominee from Northwest Nazarene University is a missionary and Communications & Partner Coordinator for the Church of the Nazarene’s USA/Canada Regional Team. Bailey Friberg combines her studies in Christian Ministries and Marketing to equip pastors and churches with the tools they need to share the Gospel and engage their communities, including an initiative that provides affordable, customizable websites to local congregations. Her work has the potential to reach nearly 5,000 churches across the region. A former NNU goalkeeper and team chaplain, Bailey is investing in the capacity of others to serve.

🏃‍♂️ Throwback Thursday: The Nighthawks 5K! 🏃‍♀️

We’re throwing it back to last year’s Nighthawks 5K, where Nighthawks of all ages laced up their running shoes, hit the course, and made some great Homecoming memories! ❤️🖤

The good news? We’re doing it all again during NNU Homecoming & Family Weekend, November 6 at 4:30pm! 🎉

And yes… the challenge is BACK! 👀

🏅 Can YOU Beat Dr. Pete? 🏅

That’s right! Brent “Dr. Pete” Peterson is ready to take on the NNU community once again! If you cross the finish line before Dr. Pete, you’ll not only earn a special “Beat Dr. Pete” sticker, but he’ll also have to contribute toward NNU student scholarships! 💰🎓

That’s right—the faster you run, the more Dr. Pete may have to pay! 😉 It’s all in good fun and for a great cause!

🎟️ Register for the Nighthawks 5K today! Better yet, we recommend purchasing the Homecoming Weekend Pass (also available as a Reunion or Youth Pass), which includes your 5K registration AND NNU shirt, along with access to other exciting Homecoming activities!

Whether you’re racing for a personal best, hoping to beat Dr. Pete, or just enjoying an afternoon with the NNU community, we can’t wait to see you at the starting line!
