We’re continuing to support the American Council of Learned Societies's campaign by highlighting the role of humanities and social science research in how we understand experience and meaning.

A work of literature or a historical account can help someone recognize their own experience in someone else’s words–a connection that can shape how we interpret the past and how we understand what we are living through.

At JSTOR, we see how access to this work supports teaching, research, and sustained engagement with the sources people rely on.
