Let’s end black history month off right! February 28th we will be hosting a black business expo on the yard. Come out and buy black from local black owned businesses in Nashville. There will be food trucks, music, and games provided! For student entrepreneurs interested in being apart of the expo send us a DM to have your business featured in the event!

As we celebrate Black History Month, let us take the time to recognize and pay tribute to the countless contributions that African Americans have made to our society. From the arts to science and technology, politics to sports, and beyond, Black people have shaped and enriched our culture in countless ways. Our courage, resilience, and determination in the face of adversity serve as an inspiration to us all. Let us continue to honor and celebrate Black history, not just this month, but every day, as a reminder of the importance of diversity and the contributions of all people.

On this Martin Luther King Jr Day, we reflect on the incredible impact that Dr. King had on our nation and the world. His powerful speeches and nonviolent activism inspired a generation to stand up against discrimination and fight for civil rights. His message of love and unity continues to resonate today and serves as a powerful reminder of the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality for all. Let us honor his legacy by committing ourselves to the ongoing struggle for justice and equality for all people.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity InC. established the Alpha Chi chapter at Fisk University on December 3rd, 1927.
There have been many Fisk affiliated Brothers who have been members of this glorious organization including:
W.E.B Du Bois (c/o 1888), Fisk University Presidents Charles
S. Johnson and Henry Ponder and notable historian and scholar John Hope Franklin.
Bro. DuBois changed the trajectory of college life on Fisk campus for the better. He established his presence in 1885 and graduated in 1888, but later returned in 1924 to support the student-led protests against Fayette McKenzie's dictatorial rule on campus.
This 43rd House of Alpha has since engrained a legacy of fully embodying the principles and high ideals that Alpha Phi Alpha firmly embeds in the hearts and minds of each Brother.
This chapter has upheld the Standard of Perfection for 94 years, and nothing will change except for the cold weather getting colder as we keep moving Onward and Upward 🤙🏽🦍
