Thank you to everyone who came out tonight! It was a very informative event in learning more about social media and it was wonderful seeing everyone. Next COMMA meeting is presented by Lipscomb's PRSSA and will be about "Christianity in PR". Next SPJ sponsored event will be April 2nd. So if you have any suggestions, let us know. Thanks again!

Our first me meeting will be Feb. 5th, Tuesday, at 6:30 PM, in Ezell 209. Our speaker will be Joey Strawn. He is the Senior Social Media Strategist at Industrial Strength Marketing. He will be speaking about his career, how to stay on track as a college student (personal brand, etc.), and any next big thing in social media. Hope to see you there!

The Mark of Excellence Awards honor the best in student journalism. The awards offer categories for print, radio, television, and online collegiate journalism.

Our meeting will be this coming Tuesday, November 13th, at 6:30 PM in Ezell 154 (Journalism Lab). Guest speaker Mollie Cochrane is the promotions manager with Clear Cloud Radio. WSIX-FM (The Big 98) and Rock WNRQ-FM (The Rock 105.9) is a part of Clear Cloud. We look forward to having everyone there!

A small change of plans for the room Tuesday. Instead of meeting in Swang 116, we are meeting are the Journalism Lab in Ezell. Which is the room with that is used for labs. We are still meeting at 6:30 PM, this Tuesday, which is tomorrow. Any questions-feel free to ask us. See you Tuesday.
