Huge congratulations to our top team—Remy Allison, Elliot Anderson, and Ryan Kells—who placed 18th out of 82 teams, putting them in the top 20%! This earned Lipscomb the 8th spot among all universities in the region. A respectable showing!

Last Thursday, Dr. Towell's Computer Organization class participated in a cool classroom experiment! Students pretended to be computer parts to learn how computers do math.

Computers add numbers using tiny switches called transistors, but they used humans instead! After some practice, the students could solve math problems in under 10 seconds. Pretty impressive for people - but computers can do millions of these same calculations every single second!

This activity really put into perspective just how incredibly fast our phones and laptops actually are!
