Founded in July 2014, the Vanderbilt University Project Safe Center for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response provides prevention education and victim advocacy services to those impacted by sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. The mission of the Project Safe Center is to provide information, support, referrals, and education about gender and sexual harassment, sexual ass

ault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, sexual exploitation, and other forms of sexual misconduct, as well as provide prevention education on consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention to the Vanderbilt University community. Project Safe serves as a central resource for those impacted by sexual harassment and interpersonal violence and can assist with navigating the University’s resource and support network (including the University Counseling Center, Student Health, the Office of Title IX and Student Discrimination, and the Vanderbilt University Police Department) as well as external support and law enforcement resources. Project Safe is proud to have been named the OHARE Campus Partner of the Year 2015-16, OHARE Campus Partner of the Year 2016-17, the OHARE Campus Partner of the Year 2018-19 and winner of the Campus Prevention Network Prevention Excellence Award in 2017.
