After nearly 16 years of service in the U.S. Army, Ryan Cowley brought a “Green Beret” standard to his work as a Lipscomb student, approaching his business studies with discipline, accountability and a mission-focused mindset.

This May, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship. Along the way, he served as vice president of Lipscomb’s Campus Veterans Organization, supported fellow student veterans and discovered new ways to integrate faith, leadership and business.

Now, he is preparing for the next chapter: pursuing his MBA at Lipscomb, building a career in business strategy and project management, and continuing to grow his architectural design firm with his wife.

Congratulations to Lipscomb’s concrete canoe team on capturing its fifth consecutive MidSouth regional championship!

The team swept every major category — proposal, presentation, final product and races — continuing an impressive tradition of excellence, teamwork and engineering innovation.

Next stop: nationals! The team will represent Lipscomb June 25-27 at the 2026 ASCE Civil Engineering Student Championships at Fairmont State University in West Virginia, competing against top collegiate programs from across the United States and around the world.

Way to go, Bisons! We’ll be cheering you on in June.

At just 6 years old, Roger Davis knew he wanted to become a pharmacist.

That childhood calling grew into a remarkable career of service, leadership and faith — and eventually led him to Lipscomb, where he became the founding dean of the College of Pharmacy and helped shape generations of health care leaders.

Today, Roger and his late wife, Nancy White Davis (’74), continue to make an impact through scholarships that honor their families, support students and reflect their deep belief in using God’s blessings to bless others.

Preaching intern. Published author. Musical artist. Future minister.

Hudson Tucker has made the most of his time at Lipscomb, bringing together his calling to ministry, his love for Scripture, his interest in philosophy and his passion for music.

A pastoral leadership May 2026 graduate from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tucker has served as a preaching intern at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ, published a philosophy of religion paper in an academic journal, presented his research at a national symposium and released an 11-song Christian pop album.

Now, he is preparing for his next chapter as he pursues a Master of Divinity at Lipscomb — carrying with him a deep desire to serve, preach and lead with excellence.
