Learning beyond the classroom 🌍✈️

Students from Northwestern State University’s Hospitality Management and Tourism program in the College of Business and Technology recently traveled to Greece for an immersive international learning experience.

During their journey through the Aegean, students explored the hospitality and tourism industry firsthand while visiting historic destinations across Greece and Turkey.

Pictured is Santorini, where students visited the iconic village of Oia, known for its whitewashed buildings, blue-domed churches and stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Experiences like these provide valuable insight into global tourism, hospitality operations and cultural engagement while connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.
