Last performance of the year is TONIGHT! Cane River Singers + NNSO perform Handel’s Messiah parts 2 and 3 with faculty and student soloists. Come out to Magale Recital Hall at 7:30pm for this incredible concert! 🤘😈🎶

We’re approaching the end of the academic year and the NSU Choirs are wrapping up their performances. We’ve got two more left to go!

The Northwestern Choral Artists will be joining the choirs of Broadmoor UMC and Noel Memorial UMC to present Vaughan William’s Five Mystical Songs and Forrest’s Te Deum. Concert is Sunday, April 26 at 6pm at Broadmoor UMC in Shreveport.

Our final performance of the year will feature Cane River Singers in collaboration with the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra performing Handel’s Messiah parts 2 and 3. Performance is Tuesday, April 28 at 7:30pm in Magale Recital Hall and will feature student and faculty soloists.

Come out and celebrate the end of our academic year with these two fantastic performances. We hope to see you there! 🤘😈🎶

Congratulations to Lyrica, Orpheus, and Chamber Choir on a fantastic combined spring concert! All three choral ensembles sang with passion, purpose, and intention. We are so glad we could celebrate our graduating students, those students going into Residency, and award the Burt Allen Choral Leadership Award. What a fantastic year for singing with the NSU Choirs!🤘😈🎶

It has been a remarkable spring semester with the NSU Choirs! Our combined spring concert with Lyrica, Orpheus, and Chamber Choir is coming up this Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30pm in Magale Recital Hall. You WON’T want to miss these three incredible ensembles singing fabulous music! 🤘😈🎶

The Northwestern Choral Artists were honored to join the Red River Chorale, students from Louisiana Christian University, and the Rapides Symphony on a wonderful collaborative concert. So many NSU students, faculty, and alumni participated in this fantastic performance. We are grateful to Maestro Joshua Zona for the invitation! 🤘😈🎶

The Northwestern Choral Artists are excited to join Red River Chorale at the Rapides Symphony Orchestra performance this upcoming Saturday! We’re looking forward to performing some Delius, Copland, Bernstein, and Thompson. We hope to see you there!

Thank you all for coming to the Great Choral Pie Off! This afternoon was filled with so much laughing, joy, and lots of pie-splatting! We raised more than enough money to send our NSU ACDA students to Memphis, TN!

Come out TOMORROW to the CAPA Quad at noon to for the Great Choral Pie Off hosted by NSU ACDA! Pie your favorite choral-voice professor! $5 for one pie or $8 for two. All proceeds go towards upcoming travel to the ACDA Southern Region conference in Memphis, TN.
