NSU Student Theatre Organization (STO) is a fully student-run theatre and performing arts organization that is passionate about providing resources for students of all theatrical experience levels to try something new. STO is an outlet for students who want to learn and grow from their experiences as a first-time Director, Designer, Stage Manager, Actor, Singer, or Dancer. Our organization is alwa

ys open to all proposal ideas and encourage students to bring forth their own original work or a project they want to see come alive. STO is the perfect place for new playwrights, directors, comedians, dancers, artists of all kinds, to bring their art alive. Whether you are an actor who wants to take a shot at lighting design, or a scenic designer who wants to try stage management, STO is a great stepping stone for students to explore all different theatrical elements where they might elsewhere be turned away due to lack of previous experience. With the help of our campus community and departmental support, NSU Student Theatre Organization has been producing shows, cabarets, STOriginals, comedy nights, open mic nights, improv workshops, and more for 7+ years and is trilled for the many more years to come.
