Attention Facebook followers – some exciting news for 2021!

We have retired this page as of the end of 2020. We invite you to follow our new LU Kellett School page at https://www.facebook.com/LakelandUniversityKellettSchool.

Our new page will include stories about Kellett students, graduates, faculty and staff, reminders about key dates during the academic year and other items of interest.

It will be a great way for us to stay connected as we help guide students to their goal of completing a Lakeland degree.

“The Fox Cities Center will be closed from Dec. 21 through Jan 3. Although we are not working our regular hours, we’ll be checking in remotely over the holiday season to service our students’ needs. We return to regular office hours on Monday, January 4th. We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year!”

From Oct. 5-9, the Campus Shop is hosting a Fall for Savings sale event on our website at www.lakeland.bkstr.com. The sale is ONLINE only. Customers will need to provide the promo code of FALL25 at time of checkout. (Standard exclusions apply: not valid on textbooks, grad attire, gift cards, diploma frames, electronics, and school supplies).

Lakeland students seeking career and job advice will have a great new resource to use this summer.

Le’Shay Guy, a 2016 Lakeland graduate who is currently enrolled in our Master of Arts in Counseling program, will be hosting weekly support groups for students as part of her counseling internship with the Career Readiness team.

Tuesdays at 6 p.m. she will host the Career Forward Job Seekers Group, which is perfect for students taking evening/online classes through the Kellett School.

Thursdays at 6 p.m. she will host the Late Night Career Hour, which is designed for traditional students at Lakeland’s main campus.
Students can join the support group sessions via collaborate in Blackboard under the career resources tab. They’ll also be recorded and available on demand through the Career Tab.

COVID-19 has many of our students experiencing industry and organizational disruptions. Positions have been impacted due to budget cuts, and some of our students have been laid off or furloughed due to the current economic climate.

Le'Shay will help students exchange ideas on how to actively connect with others, and share job opportunities that may be of interest, resources and websites that may be beneficial to explore.
