This Memorial Day, I find myself reflecting on the true meaning of this special holiday. As the proud daughter of a Korean War veteran, I've always felt a deep connection to the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes. My dad used to remind me that Memorial Day is a time for us to honor and pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives defending the freedoms we hold dear.

Today we celebrate Christion’s 22nd heavenly birthday with heavy hearts and appreciation for the time that we had with him. In his short life on earth he brought joy, love and light into every room he entered and touched every heart within distance of his smile. It’s a RAP! Fall ‘23 grades posted 12/14! I loved my first semester as an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University, Fisher School of Business! Not a class went by that I didn’t have a gut laugh and connected a little more with my students. Their final presentations brought tears to my eyes, because of the progress from the beginning of the semester. There is such a feeling of pride and humility - pride that I brought knowledge and a new perspective to the next generation of leaders and humility that I was given this important responsibility and privilege. These are notes that I received from students on Thursday and Friday.
