WE, the Students of Indiana University Southeast, affirm the intrinsic right of all students to fair and equal representation through student government. Thus, the chief purposes of the Student Government Association of Indiana University Southeast shall be to communicate the concerns of students to the university administration and to promote the general welfare of the student body. overnment Association shall additionally - ensure and protect the right of individual students and student organizations to openly voice their opinions, shall furthermore ensure the integrity of the Student Bill of Rights, herein cited in this constitution. To these ends, we the students do hereby ordain and establish this constitution of the Student Government Association of Indiana University Southeast.

✨SGA Friday✨

Meet Gracie
Guy guys! my major is Journalism and Multimedia and my minor is Criminal Justice. Until this year I had been all virtual and I like to be active in extracurriculars. Dannon was very persuasive when inviting me to SGA at Week of Welcome. While I wasn’t sure I’d like it I attended a meeting and I’ve just enjoyed the group ever since! I hope to make campus a better place for students and also more interactive whether it be in an academic aspect or an extracurricular perspective.

Meet harlee Dorman:

I am strategic communication major with a minor in art concentrated in graphic design. I am in SGA because a very persistent president asked if I wanted to join. I was told that it would give a voice to any other clubs I am in. What I hope to accomplish this year is helping with sustainability and and showcasing student work at the campus.

November has been a great moment for SGA, we sent the women of SGA to the Indiana women’s conference. WE were able to work on a couple of bills and successfully passed some. We will have a meeting this Friday Dec 3rd

I joined SGA to get myself involved in an organisation I wouldn’t normally see myself being in. I have friends in SGA that have encouraged me to attend some meetings leading to me joining! I hope I can gain experience representing the students at IU-Southeast and also be able to be apart of the impact that SGA is trying to accomplish.
