Our Story

The Organic Farming Certificate Program is a 36-credit, one year program offered through a partnership between Delaware Valley University and The Rodale Institute. During the Fall and Spring semesters students would take classes at DelVal. At this time, they would also have an opportunity to intern on a local farm to gain hands-on experience and college credits. During the summer months our students would then take 2 courses at Rodale and intern on their farm, where they can learn vegetable/animal production, beekeeping, tractor work/maintenance, bed prep, cover crops, and MORE! Do you want to be a farmer? This is the program for you.
