Rutgers Kines & Phys Grad Program We offer both M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology. Our program includes M.S. options.

The Kinesiology and Applied Physiology (KAP) interdisciplinary program focuses on physiological research that has shaped current understanding of how exercise, alone and in combination with other health behaviors, influences short- and long-term human health.

Congratulations Steve Malin, a professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health; Sue Shapses, professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences; Andrew Gow, professor of pharmacology and toxicology; Ankit Shah, assistant professor in the Department of Medicine (RWJ Medical School;) Tristan Ragland, a former post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Kinesiology and Health; Emily Heiston, project scientist and clinical coordinator in the Applied Metabolism and Physiology Laboratory; and Daniel Battillo, a former doctoral student in the Department of Kinesiology and Health. What a team!!
