💌 ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT 💌
Hanna Campiglia, Kappa Class (Fall 2020)

Hanna graduated in December 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics! She also served as our chapter’s PR Director last school year. Since leaving Rutgers, Hanna’s been traveling the world and living life to the fullest! Here’s what Hanna had to share about her post-undergrad experience so far:

“Since graduating in December, I’ve been living abroad in Spain working as an English Conversational Assistant at a high school. While here, I’ve been practicing my Spanish and making connections with people from all over the world. This experience has helped me to grow so much as a person and forced me to step out of my comfort zone in a way I’ve never done before. I’ll be returning back to the US soon and, beginning in August, I will be attending Pacific University’s 3-year accelerated audiology doctorate program.

I know that I can successful in both of these big moves because of the lessons and values that OPhiA taught me regarding sisterhood, perseverance, and the importance of supporting both yourself and others.”

We are so proud of you, Hanna! Best of luck in everything that you do. 🥰

💌 ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT 💌
Arushi Singh, Mu Class (Fall 2021)

Arushi graduated from Rutgers last August and is now pursuing her Masters in Public Health at Imperial College London! Here is what Arushi shared about her post-grad experience abroad so far:

“Going to grad school in London has given me access to a world outside of my home in New Jersey and I have truly loved every minute of it. Living in London, I have been able to visit some amazing places and fulfill my dreams and goals of traveling! It gives me an opportunity to explore outside of what I knew and grow my skills in different communities.

As a Public Health major, it is inherently important to understand that no one has the same experiences and you have to alter and change to fit specific communities. Being able to do research in a different country and hear people’s stories that are vastly different has improved my understanding of Public Health and what I need to do to improve and better help the community and world.

I have OPhiA to thank for giving me the ability to step out of my shell and make meaningful connections that have now given me that confidence to do the same in London. If anyone has any questions about studying abroad or living abroad please reach out! I would love to help ♥️♥️♥️”

We are so proud of all of your achievements, Arushi! Keep doing amazing things! 💌🥰
