Eating Disorders are within the top 5 mental disorders impacting Rutgers students. Eating Disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness.

2,042 students out of 27,588 undergraduate students already is or will be suffering from an eating disorder during their college career.

3,345 Rutgers undergraduate women are engaging in bulimic symptoms and 1,065 will develop an eating disorder. Eating Disorders do not discriminate against age, gender, socioeconomic status, or ethnicity.
