Membership Expectancies and Requirements:
*Uphold all the ideals and objectives of the ΑΩΕ sorority.
*Being enrolled as a full time student at Rutgers University in the STEM majors with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
*Candidates are expected to fulfill all the requirements of their membership education period.
*Active members and candidates are required to attend weekly meetings with the exception of
emergencies and excused absences.
*Members are responsible for upholding their financial responsibilities and paying their dues on time.
*Attendance to all recruitment events is not mandatory; however, each active member is expected to attend all events, unless excused beforehand or in case of an emergency.
*Oblige to the International Risk Management Policy.
*Have a set amount of study hours for the semester to maintain good grades. Hazing activities are defined as: ‘Any action taken or situation created intentionally, whether on or off campus, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment,harassment or ridicule.’ Such activities include, but are not limited to: the use of alcohol; paddling in any form;creation of excessive fatigue; physical or psychological shocks; morally degrading or humiliating games and activities;kidnapping and blindfolding; the wearing of public apparel which is conspicuous and not normally in good taste;late work sessions which interfere with scholastic activities; and any other activities which are not consistent with academic achievement, Sorority Law, ritual or policy, or the regulations and policies of the host educational institution or applicable City, County, State, Province, Tribal, Federal, Country, College or University law. THE ILLEGAL USE, POSSESSION, SALE OR DISTRIBUTION OF ANY CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE ON OR OFF CAMPUS, INCLUDING ALCOHOL, AT CHAPTER FUNCTIONS, AT OR DURING ANY MEMBERSHIP EDUCATION TRADITIONS, OR FUNCTIONS THAT WOULD BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE SORORITY SHALL BE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Fees and Dues:
*Active sisters must agree to pay $274 by February 20, 2022 OR $70 by 2/20, 3/20, 4/3, 4/24.
