How are innovation, collaboration, and accessibility shaping the future of teaching and learning at Yale? The Poorvu Center recently presented at Yale’s OneIT conference, leading three sessions exploring these topics.

From GLASS (Global Learner Access Support System) innovations transforming the way online learners connect with Yale to the latest AI integrations in Canvas and updates to Yale’s digital accessibility services, the event spotlighted many of the partnerships and collaborations driving our work.

Thank you to all who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and shared ideas – we’re grateful for the conversation and excited to continue our work together!

Last month, Ben Glaser represented the Poorvu Center and Yale Library at NYU’s AI for Health & Social Equity Conference. He shared innovative ways Yale is addressing AI’s influence on teaching and research, and explored how Humanities scholarship is central to navigating AI’s impact on higher education.

Ben encouraged reflection on the broader ecosystem of models, tools, platforms, procurement, and shared governance – a critical approach for fostering interdisciplinary and ethical engagement with AI.

Thank you, Ben, the NYU Silver School of Social Work, and the C+M Center for advancing this important conversation!
