June 6, 2026 – Thank you to all of our Sorors, Future Iota Leaders (FILs), family members, and friends who joined us for our end-of-year cookout at Taylor Farm Park. From delicious food and exciting games to prizes, music, and plenty of laughter, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying time together. The children had a blast at the splash park, while others enjoyed walking the trails and taking in the beauty of the park.

🍧 A special thank you to everyone who supported our Kona Ice fundraiser. We are excited to share that we exceeded our goal! Your support helps us continue investing in meaningful programs and opportunities for our youth.

We would also like to recognize our FILs and the FILs Committee for their hard work, planning, and dedication in making this event a success. Your efforts did not go unnoticed!

This month, the Zeta Chi Chapter is committed to empowering our community through awareness, access, and education. As part of our Emerald Health WINs initiative, we recognize Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, promote prevention and education during HPV Awareness Month, celebrate the significance of Juneteenth, and honor the fathers and father figures who positively impact our lives on Father’s Day.

Through health education and vaccine awareness, we continue our mission of providing resources that help individuals and families make informed decisions about their well-being. Together, we can build healthier, stronger communities through knowledge and action. 💚🤍

June 1, 2026 – Today was a beautiful celebration of sisterhood, service, and legacy as the Zeta Chi, Gamma Delta, and Zeta Rho Chapters came together to honor 97 years of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Founded on June 1, 1929, our organization continues to thrive because of the vision, dedication, and leadership of the women who came before us.

We were especially honored to witness the swearing-in of our incoming officers as they prepare to lead our chapters into another year of excellence. As we reflected on our rich history and celebrated this remarkable milestone, we were reminded that our strength lies in our unity, our purpose, and our commitment to uplifting our communities.

Happy 97th Founders Day, Sorors! May we continue to build upon the legacy of our founder, Lola Mercedes Parker, and proudly carry the torch for generations to come. 💚🤍✨
