Mitchell College mourns the loss of Rev. Jesse Jackson. We were honored to welcome him at our 55th Commencement in 1999 and present him with a Doctor of Laws honoris causa.

He delivered the Commencement address to the graduating class and imparted wisdom that endures today:

“…while our selfish impulses might tell us that nothing much matters that exists beyond our own noses, the better angels of our nature cause us to seek to build a better nation. To create a world that is more secure for all of us who live in it.”

NL AREA ALUMNI & FRIENDS - Urgent need to cover two, in-person courses on campus in New London, CT this fall - Both classes are well-prepped and support is available to get new instructors rapidly up to speed so they can begin teaching the classes on August 25.

IDEAL CANDIDATES:
• graduate degrees in business, management, accounting, math, or economics with graduate credits in accounting or finance
• at least 3-5 years of professional experience
• some college teaching, but is not a requirement
