Our CRJ student Condoleeza Semien is hosting her first artist exhibition at Dillard University, in collaboration with artist Bentrice Jusu, using art and storytelling to honor lives impacted by gun violence and create space for community healing.

If you or someone you know has lost a loved one to gun violence, survived gun violence, or has a story that deserves to be heard, we invite you to connect with us and be part of this powerful exhibit.

Each story matters. Each life has value. And healing happens in community.

Dillard University Center for Racial visited classes throughout the week for HBCU Civic Engagement Week. The goal was to connect with students, discuss the upcoming election cycle, and share opportunities for student involvement in local and state leadership. Discussions focused on educational civic engagement, voter registration, how to save a democracy, and rallying for change. We thank SGA President Madison Cox for closing us out with her very powerful words in relation to being informed, be involved, And be the change 💙💚🤍

Dillard University Center for Racial Justice accompanied its students today to participate in a community service project surrounding the Pontchartrain Park Curb Visibility & Safety Improvement Project, a neighborhood-wide public safety initiative designed to improve the visibility of the bioswale curb extensions throughout the historic neighborhood.

Dillard University Center for Racial Justice was honored to sign an MOU with Marc Morial and the National Urban League as we focus on the Reclaim Your Campus Challenge which is a campaign initiative designed to maximize voter registration and mobilization across all colleges and universities. By leveraging partners and student leaders-the challenge incentivizes civic engagement to drive record-breaking turnout across public state universities, private colleges, and HBCUs for the 2026 cycle
