Tulane LBC

The Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life at Tulane is the living room of campus! We host meeting spaces, dining services, offices, and other resources.

A modern and dramatic addition to Tulane University's architecture, the Lavin-Bernick Center establishes a new focal point for campus life. Expansive glass exterior walls create light-filled spaces and contribute to the building's feeling of open, spacious accessibility. Wrap-around balconies offer tranquil views of the Quad, futuristic ceiling fans calmly circulate the air, and water walls murmur

in the background. The building's ambiance is designed to foster a feeling of connection and community. Designed in accordance with "open building concepts", the energy-efficient LBC contains 152,000 square feet of space - almost 40% more than the former University Center.

We kicked off the school year with Tulane Takeover: Fun. Friendship. Memories. And a roller rink? 👀👀👀

It’s been great to see happy faces at our Late Night programming in The Rat! 🐀 There’s never a dull moment at Bingo Night, Open Mic Night, Craft Night, or Movie Night! Did we mention the Late Night treats? Popcorn (obviously), mocktails (ooo fancy), and Nothing Bundt Cakes (yummm) have been a few so far 🍿

Join the LBC as we "Wave Goodbye" to our Class of 2026 with our annual Umbrella & Mortar Board Decorating event. Join us for an afternoon of crafting to jazz up your mortar board and/or umbrella for graduation. Food, music, and photo opportunities will also be available as you wave goodbye to Tulane and the LBC.

We will provide basic crafting supplies...you just need to bring your mortar board and/or an umbrella. Visit our Wavesync page in the bio to RSVP and reserve an umbrella.
