Tulane Black MBA Association The Tulane Black MBA is a student organization at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The purpose of Tulane's Black MBA Association is to facilitate awareness and learning of issues affecting minorities in business and academia. This group sponsors lectures and community service programs and offers opportunities in career development. Membership is open to MBA, Master of Accounting, Master of Finance, Ph.D., and undergraduate students.

Michael Richard, New Orleans Director of Education Pioneers will be on campus this upcoming Tuesday 11/18 5:00-6:00pm in the Lavin-Bernick Center 201 – Race Conference Room speaking about the Education Pioneers Graduate School Fellowship program.

The program is a full-time, paid 10-week summer education consulting program that places talented graduates students from diverse educational backgrounds such as business, education, law, and public policy degrees, into leadership positions across school districts, charter schools and other education organizations to tackle mission-critical consulting projects.

Education needs top leaders and managers to support excellent teaching and learning. The Graduate School Fellowship is an entry point into education leadership and management careers for top graduate students, over the course of a summer or a full-year placement.

This event was the first annual Tulane Minority Graduate Student Boat Ride sponsored by the Black MBA Association, the Black Law School Association, Society of Black Health Professionals, and the Student National Medical Association. The Boat Ride was on the Steamboat Natchez and was a great way to end the year while celebrating those graduating in the many different programs.
