It is with profound sorrow that I announce the passing of our dearest and Most Worshipful Brother, Clayton J. Borne III, Past Grand Master, affectionately known as “Chip.” His departure from this earthly life brings deep sadness to all who knew him, loved him, and labored with him in the service of the Craft.

For over 57 years, Brother Chip exemplified the highest principles of Freemasonry through faithful service, steady leadership, and unwavering devotion to his brethren. His life stood as a testament to brotherly love and his legacy will remain engraved upon the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and Brothers during this time of mourning. May they find comfort in cherished memories, in the esteem with which he was held, and in the lasting example of dignity and service he leaves behind.

Let us remember Most Worshipful Brother Chip with gratitude, reverence, and affection, giving thanks for a life so honorably lived and for a legacy of service that will continue to inspire future generations. May the Great Architect of the Universe receive him into the spiritual temple not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

Last night at Germania Lodge Nr. 46, the hall was filled with true Gemütlichkeit as Islam “Izzy” Ezzo was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason — a night none of us will soon forget.
Brothers came from across the country — Arkansas, New Mexico, Montana, Oklahoma and a delegation from Texas — we also had a visiting Grand Lodge officer all the way from Queensland, Australia. Proof that no matter the distance, the bonds of Masonry hold firm.
Welcome to the Craft, Brother Izzy.

We’ll have balloting, lodge business, fellowship, and Masonic education on the agenda. Most importantly, we will be celebrating an incredible milestone as we honor Klaus “Joe” Kueck, P.M. for his 52nd year as a proud member of this Lodge.
Come early, shake some hands, and enjoy the fellowship.

His lodge meets in a building that dates back to the 13th century 🤯 — a living connection to centuries of Masonic history. We’re looking forward to true Gemütlichkeit as we welcome our Brother from the Fatherland.
🔹 Masonic education
🔹 Fellowship & dining
🔹 And yes… possible competitive darts or shuffleboard 🎯😄
📍 Refreshments: 6:30 PM
🔨 Gavel falls: 7:30 PM
Let’s show up strong and give our visiting Brother the warm Germania welcome he deserves. Looking forward to a great turnout and an even better night of Brotherhood! 🍻🤝

As the Year Draws to a Close — One Brother's Reflection.

As the final light of the year has settled softly upon the trestleboard, where we found ourselves, so many times, within the warmth of the Lodge—where the air carries echoes of laughter, quiet instruction, and the steady rhythm of work well shared. There, between familiar pillars, where we look back not as strangers to one another, but as Brothers who have broken bread together, stood shoulder to shoulder during degrees, and lingered long after the gavel fell—unwilling to rush away from fellowship hard-earned. We remember the nights when new Brothers took their first steps in due and ancient form, the hush of the room broken only by words passed down through time. We recall gatherings filled with conversation and good cheer, tables well-worn, glasses raised, and visitors welcomed as friends before the evening was through. Moments of instruction, moments of joy, and moments where peace and harmony quietly prevailed.

To all my Brothers of the Craft: reflect gently.
Stand for a moment between the pillars and take your measure—not with harsh judgment, but with the same kindness you would offer a Brother by the fire. For none of us are finished stones. We are living ashlar, still shaped by the work, polished by patience, and guided by the Light we seek together.

If your step faltered this year, acknowledge it.
If a word spoken cast a shadow where warmth was needed, make it right. If you carried old burdens—anger, regret, or troubles unspoken—set them down here, among Brothers, where no man labors alone. Our Craft reminds us that the Temple is built not in haste, but through steady effort and renewal. That each opening of the Lodge is another chance to square our actions, to true our intentions, and to return to the work with clearer eyes and steadier hands.

Breathe in the quiet promise of the coming year— like the glow of the fire on a cold evening. Breathe out what no longer serves the building of your inner Temple. For none of us know when the last grain of sand will fall… when the final gavel will sound… or when we will be called to lay down our working tools and rest from our labors.

So in the New Year, let us make the most of the time still granted. Linger a little longer in fellowship. Love our Brothers more deeply. Forgive more freely. Carry the warmth of the Lodge with us into the world beyond its doors. And as we step forward together into a new year,
let us do so not as perfect men— but as better ones, bound by friendship, guided by Light, and ever worthy of the title Freemason!!! So Soll Es Sein.

Last night the hall was filled with true Gemütlichkeit as we had the honor of Raising our newest Master Mason in due and ancient form.

He is—without question—worthy, well-qualified, and properly vouched for. From the moment he first walked through our doors, he has been an absolute pleasure to be around. He’s been a Mason in his heart long before he ever knocked, and last night a lifelong dream finally came true for him. He has dreamed of this moment since he was just a boy.

The joy on his face, and in the hearts of everyone present, made the night unforgettable. We were joined by several visiting Brothers who added even more light to the evening.

After the degree, the conversations and fellowship carried long into the night—and as always, peace and harmony prevailed.
