This is a place for University of Texas at Austin alumni living in the New Orleans area to stay connected and find out what is going on with the New Orleans Texas Exes! We host events for alumni of all ages … game-watching parties, happy hours, a Texas Independence Day BBQ, and community service projects. Heck, just being away from Texas makes me want to strut around in my Texas gear every single

day! This is a great way to connect with all of your fellow Longhorns in New Orleans. You have the opportunity to make tons of new friends and maybe even connect with ones you may have lost touch with. We can’t let all of this silly purple and gold stuff start soakin' in - we need a regular dose of BURNT ORANGE blood to keep our hearts pumpin’ for TEXAS!

The Texas Longhorns and Athletic Director Del Conte have secured their fifth NACDA Learfield Directors' Cup Championship. The award recognizes the top-performing athletic department. The Longhorns' top-performing teams include: Rowing, Softball, Men's Swimming and Diving, Men's Tennis, Women's Basketball, Women's Swimming and Diving, and Beach Volleyball. Men's and Women's Golf, and Volleyball teams. Baseball is still playing.

Congratulations to all the athletes and staff who have contributed to this achievement.

The Texas Exes New Orleans Chapter is growing, and we’re looking for passionate Longhorns to help lead the future of our chapter!

Looking for Leaders to take us into the next Year. Meeting scheduled for June 3rd at 6pm, NOLA Brewery. Not required to attend but it would help. We also need 10 life members to stop in and sign our Chapter Charter. NOLA Brewing thank you so much for the space. NOT a life Member show up anyway and we can talk about it.
