Grace Wright is from Durham, North Carolina and is majoring in Homeland Security with a minor in Russian. Selected to serve as a Surface Warfare Officer, her favorite leadership role in the unit was Assistant Admin Department Head, where she enjoyed stepping up to help run admin operations behind the scenes and preparing for the responsibilities of being a department head.

Her favorite summer cruise was her 1/C SWO cruise, where she earned her blue chip. During her time in the battalion, she learned the importance of attention to detail and effective time management.

Outside of ROTC, she enjoys reading the Bible, rock climbing, and practicing karate.

Senior Spotlight

Souvenah Naulls was raised in Maryland and is currently pursuing a degree in English. She has embraced the challenges and opportunities that come with the unit. Throughout her time in the battalion, her favorite leadership role has been serving as Platoon Sergeant.

Among the many experiences gained, her favorite memory was OCS. The unit has played a significant role in shaping her perspective, teaching her many lessons, everything except map work.

Outside of ROTC, Souvenah enjoys drawing, reading, and eating, while continuing to grow both personally and academically.

What Souvenah values most about her time in the unit is the leadership development, camaraderie, and lessons that will carry forward into future success.
