Join us in congratulating Trustee Orim Graves for receiving the Maynard Jackson Award from the National Association of Securities Professionals.

Trustee Graves has served as Chair of Dillard University's Investment Committee for over a decade. During that time, our endowment has doubled.

Thanks to Trustee Graves' astute allocation strategies, the endowment has outperformed many Ivy League institutions in recent years, placing it in the top 10 of HBCU endowments.

The University owes Trustee Graves a deep debt of gratitude. Congratulations Trustee Orim Graves!

Although the weather did not allow us to have this year's Commencement on the historic Avenue of the Oaks, it didn't stop us from celebrating the Class of 2026 on their momentous day!

Thanks to the generous hospitality of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, this year's graduates were able to walk across the stage and be recognized for their wonderful achievements.

Congratulations again to the Class of 2026, best of luck on all of your future endeavors!

This past week, Dillard University had the pleasure of unveiling the newest mural by globally renowned artist Brandan “BMIKE” Odums. The new mural lives in the University’s newest dorm, the Innovation Collective, and contains various elements that represents Dillard University’s history! 💙🤍
