Tampa Bay continues to grow as a hub for innovation, health care and workforce development.

PHSC is proud to partner with the new Florida Oncology and Radiopharmaceutical Growth Engine (FORGE) coalition alongside Moffitt Cancer Center , by Moffitt, Embarc Collective Tampa Bay and USF Health-University of South Florida to help prepare students for high-demand careers in health care and emerging industries.

Through workforce-focused education and imaging technologist training programs, PHSC continues supporting economic growth across Pasco, Hernando and the greater Tampa Bay region.

Alexander Bianchi, who serves as a Veteran Services Specialist at Pasco-Hernando State College, brings valuable experience from his service in the United States Army to his role supporting students. Through his military background, he has worked with a diverse range of individuals facing unique challenges, which has strengthened his ability to understand, guide and support student veterans effectively.

His time in the Army also provided him with a strong understanding of policies and procedures, which he now applies in navigating and assisting students within the college system. This knowledge enhances his ability to ensure students receive the support and resources they need in an efficient and informed manner.

Most importantly, his military service instilled in him a strong sense of purpose centered on helping fellow veterans succeed. In his role at PHSC, he is dedicated to supporting veterans as they transition into the next phase of their lives, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.

In addition to his professional role, Alexander is a current student at PHSC, pursuing his Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, further demonstrating his commitment to personal and professional growth.
