About Us:
The Theater Center is an Off-Broadway theater complex in the heart of New York's Theater District offering productions, acting classes, and event spaces. We’re a small team that values hard work and creativity.
The Internship:
We offer a flexible internship that can be customized to match your interests. Whether you’re curious about Marketing, General Management, Production, Sponsorship, Graphic Design/Social Media Management, or Public Relations, we’ll help you get the experience you’re looking for.
We are committed to providing real-world, valuable experience. No xeroxing or running errands!
What You’ll Do:
· Marketing: Assist in developing strategies to promote our shows, manage campaigns, and engage with our audience.
· General Management: Help with the day-to-day operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing theater activities.
· Sponsorship: Work on building and maintaining relationships with sponsors and exploring new opportunities for partnership.
· Graphic Design/Social Media Management: Create visual content for marketing materials, help to manage our social media platforms, and help maintain our online presence.
· Public Relations: Assist in managing communications with the press, writing press releases, and building our public image.
About You:
- Self-Starter: You’re proactive and ready to get involved.
- Interest in Theater: You want to learn more about the business side of the performing arts.
- Team Player: You work well with others and contribute to team efforts.
- Detail-Oriented: You’re good at managing small tasks that make a big impact.
